Uzbek President to attend CIS summit

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will participate in upcoming session of the Council of the heads of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on 9-10 October 2014, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
Earlier, it was reported that the CIS leaders will consider 17 draft documents directed at further developing inter-state cooperation in humanitarian spheres, security and other areas.
The CIS leaders will also consider some organizational issues.
