Uzbek President signs resolution on widespread public involvement in entrepreneurship and the development of family entrepreneurship in the regions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The President issued a resolution “On additional measures to widely involve the population in entrepreneurship and the development of family entrepreneurship in the regions”.

In accordance with the resolution under the program “Every family is an entrepreneur”, it is planned to finance the projects and activities due to credit lines of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and international financial institutions.

Low-interest loans will be allocated to the population and business entities at the rate of 8 percent per annum for a period of not more than 3 years with a 3-6 month grace period.

Preferential loans to the population under such targeted programs as “Every family is an entrepreneur”, “Youth is our future” will be allocated on the basis of the conclusion of the Family Business Support Centers.

As noted, the funds will be transferred to the settlement accounts of the supplier of goods (services) after the delivery of goods (services) at the contract price, subject to the satisfaction of the project owner.
