Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Law "On the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" in the new version.

The law clearly defines the competence of the Cabinet of Ministers in the economic, financial, monetary, investment, social, cultural, humanitarian, educational, scientific, medical, environmental and other fields.

Also, a separate article has been adopted into the Law on the right of legislative initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers, the procedure for the implementation of this right.

The law defines the procedure for submitting and considering issues to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The interaction between the Cabinet of Ministers and the President of Uzbekistan and its Administration, courts, and law enforcement agencies on a legal provision issue are now regulated through the newly adopted article.

At the same time, a separate chapter on the openness and transparency of the Cabinet of Ministers has been implemented into the Law.

This Law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
