Uzbek President Meets French Transport Minister to Discuss Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 November, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Philippe Tabarot, Minister of Transport of the French Republic, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor Investors Forum.

During the meeting, Minister Tabarot conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from French President Emmanuel Macron.

The leaders discussed prospects for deepening strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, with a focus on transport and logistics, in line with agreements reached during President Mirziyoyev’s historic visit to Paris in March.

Special attention was given to developing collaboration in civil aviation and training highly qualified specialists in the transport sector, including educational programs at the newly established Uzbek-French University.
