Uzbek President leaves for Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for the Republic of Karakalpakstan on 20 August to familiarize himself with the course of the reforms.

During the two-day trip, it is planned to study the creative work carried out in the city of Nukus, as well as Muinak, Kanlykul, Karauzyak, Takhiatash and other areas, the activities of industrial enterprises and farms.

On the agenda is a dialogue with the people and the definition of new projects.
