Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on awarding a state award Zulfiya to a group of gifted girls.

The resolution was adopted in order to express respect to women, improving their role and status in the society, support of talented girls.

In line with the resolution, 28 girls received Zulfiya award for their talent, initiative, academic success, as well as special achievements in the field of education, science, literature, art, sports and social activities.

The girls will also receive one time money award equal to 50 sizes of basic estimated value. They will receive awards on solemn ceremony.
