The Uzbek leader signed four separate decrees on appointment of governors on 14 January 2010.
In line with the decrees, Ahmad Usmanov was appointed as governor of Andijan region and Samoydin Husenov became governor of Bukhara region.
Sayfiddin Ismailov headed Jizzakh region, while Nuriddin Zayniev will lead Kashkadarya region.
