Uzbek President appoints deputy interior ministers
According to the press service of Interior Ministry, Rakhmat Mamatov has been appointed as the first deputy minister of interior affairs – head of the main department of criminal investigation and fighting terrorism of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
In connection with his new appointment Mamatov has been released from the duties of the deputy minister of interior affairs.
With other decree from 24 December 2013, President Islam Karimov appointed Bakhodir Kurbanov to the post of the deputy minister of interior affairs.
As reported earlier, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov appointed the first deputy minister of interior affairs Adham Ahmedbaev to the post of the Minister of Interior Affairs on 13 December 2013.
He replaced Bakhodir Matlyubov at this post. Matlyubov left the post in connection with retirement.
