Uzbek President Announces Cargo Flights to Karachi and Passenger Flights to Lahore

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from April 2026, Uzbekistan will launch regular cargo flights to Karachi and direct passenger flights to Lahore, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced during a business forum held in Islamabad.

The head of state also highlighted that cargo transportation along the Pakistan–China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan route has already been established, opening new opportunities for regional logistics and trade development.

This year, the first Uzbekistan–Pakistan Regional Forum is planned, which will serve as an important platform for strengthening interregional cooperation and expanding business contacts between the two countries.
