Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mansour warmly congratulated the Uzbek leader on his birthday, extending wishes for good health, well-being, and continued success in his state activities. He also conveyed sincere congratulations and best wishes on behalf of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed Al Nahyan.

During the conversation, the two sides discussed further strengthening the Uzbek-Emirati relationship of friendship and strategic partnership, including the practical implementation of agreements reached during President Mirziyoyev’s visit to the UAE in January this year.

They noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics in bilateral cooperation across key areas — including trade, investment, innovation, and transport and logistics. Steady growth in mutual trade was observed, alongside an expanding portfolio of joint investment projects, a rising number of joint ventures, and increased frequency of direct flights between the two countries.

Both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining regular and close dialogue at all levels and ensuring thorough preparation for upcoming high-level contacts aimed at promoting forward-looking initiatives and mutually beneficial projects.
