Uzbek police officer detained for humiliation of woman
The police officer humiliated the woman by ordering to strip off her closes and recorded the process to vide. On the record, the man behind the scenes uses rude and obscene words, screams at a woman, orders her to undress. Then the police officer tries to put her naked in the street.
On 22 June 2018, citizen N.T. filed a statement to the State Security Service of Samarkand region, in which she reported that on 3 June 2018, the detective of Kattakurgan city police department S. Umarov and others insulted and forced her to undress in the building of the city police department.
On this fact, the regional prosecutor’s office conducted a pre-investigation check, during which it was determined that on 3 June 2018, 10:00 clock citizen N.T. was detained in the market by police officers in suspicion of the theft and transported to the city police department.
Police officer Sanat Umarov insulted the women and said that she came to the market to commit theft. After that, forcing N.T. to take off all the clothes in the corridor of the administrative building of the Internal Affairs Directorate and recorded all the process.
On 4 July 2018, the prosecutor’s office of Samarkand region initiated a criminal case against the detective of Kattakurgan city police department Sanat Umarov on the basis of part 1 of article 206 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A service check is also conducted with regard to the leadership of the Kattakurgan Interior Affairs Department.
