Uzbek Parliament Representatives Meet with Countrymen in the United States

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Senators and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan held a meeting with compatriots studying and working in the United States.

During the dialogue, participants were provided with detailed information on the large-scale reforms implemented in the country in recent years, the key points of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s address to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, as well as measures supporting citizens abroad under the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy.

Special attention was given to opportunities, benefits, and scholarship programs available to compatriots studying or working overseas, including those facing difficult life circumstances.

The meeting also highlighted cultural and educational initiatives and services delivered through the “Ildiz” and “Chinor” platforms.

Discussions focused on providing timely and effective legal assistance to compatriots, finding practical solutions to current challenges, and exploring prospects for joint projects in the fields of investment, exports, tourism, education, information technology, and healthcare, all aimed at supporting Uzbekistan’s socio-economic development.
