Uzbek-Pakistan Business Forum Held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, a Uzbek-Pakistan Business Forum and conference on business opportunities took place in Tashkent.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The forum was attended by around 300 entrepreneurs representing industries including manufacturing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, textiles, logistics, construction, information technology, and tourism.

The opening remarks were delivered by Alisher Shaikhov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Umar Shavkat, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, and other officials.

Representatives from both sides emphasized the need to further develop economic ties, expand joint projects, and strengthen direct business cooperation.

Presentations were given on investment opportunities in Uzbekistan and the conditions created for foreign investors.

The forum featured B2B and B2G meetings, resulting in agreements to implement joint production, trade, and investment projects.

At the conclusion of the forum, the following memorandums of cooperation were signed:

Between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce;

Between the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Sky Electric;

Between Caraway Pharmaceuticals and Perfect Future Medicine;

Between Neutrics Global (Pvt) Ltd and ANT Group;

Between Pak World Trade & Expo Centre and BMCA.

The signed documents are aimed at establishing long-term strategic partnerships between the business communities of the two countries and further expanding economic ties.
