According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides considered actual issues of bilateral cooperation in context of strengthening of the Uzbek-German relations.
Currently, Konrad Adenauer Foundation participates in implementation of 40 joint projects and programmes, directed at deepening social-economic reforms in Uzbekistan, judicial-legal system, and information sphere, improving election legislation, developing civil society, etc.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on perspective directions of cooperation. They expressed mutual interest in expanding relations with participation of state, public, cultural, science and education institutions of Uzbekistan and Germany.
Head of the Kondrad Adenauer Foundation Office in Uzbekistan Thomas Kunze attended the meeting.
