Uzbek officials discuss implementation of projects with France and the UAE

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 September, under the leadership of the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov, a working interagency meeting was held to discuss the implementation of joint projects with investors from the United Arab Emirates and France.

During the meeting, an in-depth analysis of each individual project was carried out, the current state of cooperation was studied, and relevant issues were identified. In the targeted manner with the respective leaders, possible ways of resolving these issues have been worked out, which will accelerate the implementation of joint initiatives.

Particular attention of the heads of ministries, departments and commercial banks was drawn to the need for close contact with the Emirate and French counter partners in order to instantly respond to incoming requests due to the scale and macroeconomic significance of ongoing projects.

An initiative was also worked out to send specialized working groups consisting of heads and experts of ministries and departments for direct negotiations and reaching concrete agreements in each direction.
