Uzbek MFA hosts meeting with Ambassador of Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 March 2018, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Sayed Shahabuddin Timurh in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the preparations for the forthcoming international conference on Afghanistan "The Peace Process, Cooperation in the Sphere of Security and Regional Cooperation" in Tashkent, as well as other topical issues on the bilateral agenda.
