Uzbek, Korean business unions ink protocol of intend
The parties discussed a number of measures aimed at improving trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
Emphasizing that warm and friendly relations are successfully continuing between the countries, Adham Ikramov noted that in recent years Uzbekistan and Korea have made significant progress in strengthening the fundamental foundations of cooperation, maintaining a high level, open and confidential political dialogue.
During the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on signing a Memorandum of Cooperation and strengthening cooperation between businessmen of the two countries.
The first step in development of cooperation was the signing of a Protocol of Intentions between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association for the Promotion of Small and Medium Business of the Republic of Korea, which is aimed at implementing the agreements reached within the framework of the meeting.
