Uzbek, Japan officials consider implementation of joint projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Fumihiko Kato has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 2 December 2013, the press service of the Uzbek ministry said.

The sides discussed practical issues of the Uzbek-Japanese relations, course of implementation of the joint projects in investment and trade-economic spheres, as well as perspectives of the participation of the Japanese companies in implementation of several infrastructure objects.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides also proposals on schedule of bilateral events at the inter-governmental and inter-parliamentary levels, upcoming contacts between ministries and departments of two nations to realize earlier reached agreement in various spheres of cooperation.
