Uzbek insurance companies collect premiums for 551.53bn soums in 2015

The volume of premiums on voluntary insurance products made up 364.82 billion soums in the reporting period (+21) and mandatory insurance products – 186.71 billion soums (+35%).

The companies increased insurance payouts by 49% year-on-year in 2015 – to 111.002 billion soums. The volume of payouts on voluntary insurance products reached 67.227 billion soums (+48%) and mandatory insurance products – 43.775 billion soums (+49%).

Investments of insurance companies of Uzbekistan exceeded 758.087 billion soums (+22%), of which deposits were 355.003 billion soums (+21%), securities – 300.191 billion soums (+20%), loans – 7.567 billion soums (+13%), real estate – 38.776 billion soums (+39%). At the same time, the companies invested 50.363 billion soums to charter capital of the enterprises (+16%) and other investments made up – 6.185 billion soums (+ 5.25 times).

Aggregate charter capital of insurance companies rose by 16% year-on-year to 420.711 billion soums as of the end of 2015.
