Uzbek Govn’t expects 8% GDP growth in 2015

The Government of Uzbekistan forecasts that the gross domestic product (GDP) of the country will grow by 8% in 2015, according to data of the press service of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
On 22 October, the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved the state budget of Uzbekistan for 2015.
According to the state budget, Uzbekistan expects that the economy will expand by 8% in 2015, production of industrial goods – by 8.3%, agriculture output – 6% and capital investments – 9.6%.
The Government of Uzbekistan forecasted that the growth of GDP will make up 8.1% in 2014, industrial production – 8.3%, agriculture outputs – 6% and capital investments – 9.5%.
