Uzbek Government Expands Criteria for Inclusion in “Yoshlar Daftari” to Youth Up to 30 Years Old
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has amended the regulations governing the Youth Register (Yoshlar Daftari), introducing new criteria for inclusion and access to social support. Resolution No. 78 of 25 February 2026, supplements the previously adopted Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 312 of 7 June 2022.
Under the updated rules, the Youth Register now includes individuals aged 14 to 30 who fall into one of the following categories: members of families listed in the Social Registry, as well as citizens whose average monthly income per family member does not exceed twice the minimum consumer expenditure level.
Applicants can request social assistance through the Public Services Center, the EPIGU portal (my.gov.uz), or the Unified Electronic Youth Platform.
Support is provided based on an individual plan in the form of a social contract, with compliance automatically monitored through the platform. Each condition is assessed monthly on a 100-point scale, and the average score is calculated as the total points divided by the number of conditions.
Each December, up to 1,000 young people who have fulfilled the social contract conditions with “excellent” results for at least six months and demonstrated the highest performance are awarded a cash prize equal to three times the minimum wage.
The new changes aim to enhance the effectiveness of social support for youth and encourage responsible fulfillment of contract obligations.
