Uzbek-French University to Be Established in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan will establish the Uzbek-French University, following a presidential decree signed on 26 November 2025.
The new university will operate under Uzbek legislation and follow the guidelines of a consortium of French universities.
Initially, the institution will focus on graduate-level programs. In the future, education will expand to include undergraduate and doctoral programs. Preparatory courses for prospective students are also planned.
The educational process will be funded through targeted government grants and tuition-based contracts.
Graduates will receive a diploma from the Uzbek-French University and/or a diploma from a French consortium member university accredited in France.
All issued diplomas will be officially recognized within Uzbekistan.
