Uzbek Foreign Ministry hosts meeting with Finnish envoy

At the meeting, the sides considered current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Finnish dialogue, implementation of agreements, reached at the political consultations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Finland on 22-23 November 2013 in Helsinki.

At consideration of issues on development of parliamentary relations, the sides underlined mutual interest in exchange of experience in law-making activities, including in legislative support of bilateral trade-economic, scientific and cultural-humanitarian relations.

The officials of Uzbekistan and Finland also considered issues of expanding mutual trade and investment cooperation, taking into account existence advantages of Uzbekistan and Finland.

The sides exchanged opinion on schedule and agenda of the upcoming contacts at various levels, as well as actual international and regional issues.

The Uzbek side expressed gratitude to Finnish envoy to her contribution to strengthening of bilateral relations.

In her turn, Ms. Tuula Yrjölä expressed gratitude for creation of favourable conditions for her successful mission in Uzbekistan.
