Uzbek Foreign Minister Receives Credentials from New Belgian Ambassador
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 January, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Belgium to Tashkent, Erik De Maeyer.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of bilateral issues, emphasizing the importance of further developing trade and economic ties, increasing investment, strengthening business cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belgium, and expanding practical engagement in the economic sphere.
The Uzbek Foreign Minister wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic mission and expressed Uzbekistan’s readiness to provide comprehensive support for the development of partnership relations between the two countries.
