Uzbek Foreign Minister Holds Talks with France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held a substantive and constructive meeting in Paris with France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.
The talks reaffirmed the strong and steadily developing nature of the strategic partnership between the two countries. The parties discussed ways to deepen cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, education, sustainable development, and other key areas.
The ministers also exchanged views on current regional and global issues, agreeing to maintain an active, forward-looking political dialogue. Both sides emphasized that such engagement would help achieve tangible results at both the bilateral and multilateral levels.
