Uzbek Foreign Minister Discusses Strategic Partnership Development with U.S. Representatives

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 27 October, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Serjio Gor and First Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau.

The parties highlighted the unprecedented momentum in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the United States across all areas — from trade and investment to education and innovation.

Talks focused on the timely and full implementation of agreements reached at the level of heads of state, as well as on the prospective agenda of upcoming contacts.

Minister Saidov emphasized that Uzbekistan and the United States are determined to mobilize all available opportunities to further strengthen their strategic partnership and expand cooperation in the interests of sustainable regional development.
