Uzbek football league claims 63rd place in IFFHS ranking
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan Professional Football League (PFL) claimed the 63rd place in the rating of the world’s strongest leagues in 2001-2010, which was published by International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
According to the IFFHS, PFL collected 2.69 points and occupied 63rd place among 123 national championships of the world.
The Uzbek league was fifth among the former Soviet countries after Ukraine (17th place), Russia (18), Georgia (59) and Lithuania.
Among the Asian nations, Uzbekistan was sixth after Japan (34), Korea (39), Saudi Arabia (48), Iran (51) and China (57).
