Uzbek food industry produces goods for 742.6bn soums in 1Q

The enterprises also increased production of consumer goods for 855.6 billion soums with the growth rate of 11.3% in the reporting period.

The companies of the industry started production of 80 new products. In the first quarter of 2014, there were 115 small businesses in the structure of the Association, which produced products for 127.3 billion soums, which makes up 18.2% from total volume of the association’s production.

In line with the investment programme, the industry produced 42 projects for US$81.62 million in 2014. In the first quarter the industry used investments for US$81.62 million.
