Uzbek Food Festival Held in Kuwait for the First Time with Participation of More Than 20 Uzbek Exporters

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14–15 December, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait and the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, the first Uzbek Food Festival will be held, aimed at showcasing Uzbekistan’s agricultural potential and its export opportunities in international markets.

The festival brings together a delegation of more than 20 major exporters presenting over 200 types of products, ranging from processed meat products to fresh and dried fruits, food additives, spices, and confectionery goods.

The event provides an opportunity to demonstrate the diversity of Uzbek products and to strengthen their presence in the Kuwaiti market.

Ahead of the festival, on 11 December, meetings were held with the retail chains Sulton Center and City Hypermarket with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait.

During the talks, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed. Even before the official opening of the festival, retail orders for products from Uzbek entrepreneurs were placed through Sulton Center, indicating growing interest in national products.

In addition, an agreement was reached with the management of City Hypermarket to hold the next Uzbek Food Festival in 2026, laying the foundation for the sustainable promotion of Uzbek goods in the Kuwaiti market.
