Uzbek FM receives US Assistant Secretary of State

Nisha Biswal arrived in Tashkent to participate in next round of political consultations between Uzbekistan and the United States, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on Uzbek-US relations, international and regional issues, the Uzbek ministry said.

The sides underlined that both countries pay great attention to development of multipronged dialogue and implementation of joint projects in various areas.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of USA to Uzbekistan George Krol participated in the meeting.
