The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that Ambassador handed over credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the sides considered current state and perspectives of developing of cooperation in bilateral format and within the international organizations.
At the meeting, the sides considered issues of joint work on normative-legal base of relations, first of all in economic spheres.
It was underlined that despite geographic distance, two countries have great potential for deepening and developing trade-economic and investment cooperation. As priority, the sides consider bringing modern technology and expertise of New Zealand into Uzbekistan to create joint venture in production and processing of food, implementation of the projects in such industries as mining, automotive, renewable energy and others.
The sides also exchanged opinion on separate international and regional problems, which represent mutual interest.
