The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the Ambassador handed over credential addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the sides considered issues of developing Uzbek-Chilean relations in bilateral format and within the international organizations.
The sides shared opinion on various initiatives, directed at institutionalizing of political dialogue, including through holding regular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, establishing inter-parliamentary exchanges, establishing direct contacts among business circles and representatives of cultural-humanitarian spheres of Uzbekistan and Chile.
The sides also considered separate international and regional issues of mutual interest.
