Uzbek FM receives new ambassador of Netherlands
On 26 January, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed ambassador, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
Regina Veronica Maria Jones-Bos presented her credentials to Abdulaziz Kamilov. The Uzbek Foreign Minister congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished successes on a high and responsible post.
Diplomats of the two countries exchanged views on the prospects for further development of ties between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands. The sides also discussed some international and regional problems.
Abdulaziz Kamilov and Regina Veronica Maria Jones-Bos positively assessed the high level of cooperation between the countries achieved within the 25 years of diplomatic relations. The sides stressed that the countries have significant potential for expanding cooperation in all spheres.
Diplomats of Uzbekistan and the Netherlands noted an interest in deepening cooperation in the political sphere, incl. Tourist business, the edge of science, education, culture and art.
The sides also discussed other issues on the bilateral agenda.
