Uzbek FM receives FAO director-general

During the meeting, the sides discussed priority directions on further developing cooperation in context of speech of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov at the opening ceremony of an international conference "About main food programme implementation of reserves in Uzbekistan".

The sides underlined mutual interest of Uzbekistan and FAO to expand mutual beneficial relations gradually, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

It was underlined that singing of the agreement on establishment of FAO County Office in Uzbekistan will help expand cooperation in various areas.
