Uzbek FM meets with outgoing Turkmen envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 August 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Shiri Shiriyev, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

The Minister noted the active and fruitful activity of the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Uzbekistan and highly appreciated his personal contribution to the expansion and deepening of mutually beneficial Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan relations, which today, under the leadership of the heads of the two states, have reached a qualitatively new level of strategic partnership, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Shiri Shiriyev expressed gratitude to the Uzbek side for favorable conditions created for his successful work as Ambassador.
