Uzbek FM meets with deputy assistant of US Secretary of State

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 August 2015, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Daniel Rosenblum, the Deputy Assistant of the United States Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, who is on visit in Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of deepening the Uzbek-American dialogue in the political, trade-economic, investment, humanitarian and other fields of mutual interest.

The sides also discussed some issues of international and regional policy, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The US Ambassador Pamela Leora Spratlen attended the meeting.
