Uzbek FM meets newly appointed Georgian Ambassador

The press service of the Ministry of Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the Uzbek Minister received copy of credentials of the envoy.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-Georgian cooperation, some international and regional issues.

The sides underlined positive trend of cooperation in various directions and underlined mutual interest in expanding of mutual beneficial relation in trade-economic, investment and transport-communication spheres, boosting cultural-humanitarian contacts.

At the meeting, it was underlined that two states create solid legal base, which consists of over 80 agreements, which cover practically all spheres of the Uzbek-Georgian cooperation and they help to develop relations at the level of the governments, business circles, scientific and education institutions, as well as representatives of culture sphere.
