Uzbek FM holds talks with NATO Special envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Special representatives of the NATO Secretary-General to Central Asia and Caucasus James Appathurai on 16 May 2014.

NATO envoy arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in opening of the office of the NATO Liaison Officer for Central Asia in Tashkent city.

At the meeting, the sides considered issues of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and NATO within implementation of partnership programmes.

The sides exchanged opinion on some regional problems, including situation in Afghanistan.
