During the discussion of issues of Uzbekistan – Afghanistan agenda, the sides focused on prospects for development of cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication and other spheres, implementation of joint projects.

At the meeting, proposals on cooperation within the framework of implementation of tasks defined by the Tashkent Declaration following the results of the high-level international conference on Afghanistan "Peace process, security cooperation and regional connectivity", held on March 26-27, 2018, were also considered.
