Uzbek FM holds talks with French envoy

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the sides discussed actual issues of the Uzbek-French relations.

The sides affirmed readiness of two states to boost contacts at various levels, including to hold regular political consultations between foreign ministers, meetings between representatives of parliaments, sessions of bilateral institutes in cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.

It was said both sides pay great attention to implementation of agreements, reached at the session of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation, which was held in Paris in March 2014. The sides said they are interested in expanding mutual beneficial relations among business circles of two states.

The diplomats also considered other issues of bilateral and international character.
