Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 November 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held bilateral meetings with the State Secretary of the Republic of Latvia Andrejs Pildegovičs, the Senator of the Kingdom of Spain, Jose Ignacio Landanuse Kaeja, the Director of Atlantic Council’s Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center John Edward Herbst, participating in the International Conference “Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Mutual Prosperity”.

The parties discussed development priorities of the relations, based on new perspectives that are opening in connection with the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mersiyoyev, put forward in his speeches at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York and on 10 November at the Samarkand forum.

The sides also exchanged views on the bilateral agenda during the meetings, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
