Uzbek envoy pays visit to Pakistan’s NARC

The visit of the Uzbek envoy to the Pakistan center was directed to discuss bilateral collaboration in agricultural research and development between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Director-general of the NARC Muhammad Azeem Khan received the envoy. Head of the center briefed the Uzbek envoy on mandate of the center and its research work in agriculture sector, Pakistani media reported.

Uzbek ambassador express interest in the agricultural machinery, plant genetic resources, horticulture and other inventions of NARC.

He reflected his full commitment to extend the cooperation by Uzbekistan in the field of agricultural machinery, cotton, fruits, germplasm exchange, agricultural product development, water saving technologies, development of saline and waterlogged area, animal sciences/husbandry and other allied area of agriculture.
