Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 25 January 2020, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Dilyor Khakimov met in Brussels with members of the Belgian Parliament included in the updated Belgium-Uzbekistan Friendship Group. The group is led by Tim Vandenput.

Belgian deputies advocated the intensification of practical cooperation between the two countries. In particular, they expressed interest in organizing a meeting in Brussels in June as part of the participation of the delegation of the Oliy Majlis in the next meeting of the Uzbekistan-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
