Uzbek envoy hands over credentials to Swiss President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Switzerland with residence in Berlin handed over credentials to the President of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter, Jahon news agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.

During the ceremony, the Swiss President positively rated Uzbek-Swiss relations in politics, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

He underlined that there are untapped potential to expand mutual beneficial cooperation between two countries.

President of Swiss Confederation wished success and prosperity to the leadership and people of Uzbekistan.
