During the meeting, the sides considered issues of developing cooperation with the Dutch companies and attracting investments into Uzbekistan. The holding of joint event on presenting economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan, as well as concrete investment projects in Amsterdam on 18 June was proposed.
The Dutch side was familiarized with main directions of social-economic development of Uzbekistan. They were informed on priority economic policy of Uzbekistan directed at attracting high technologies and organization of production in Uzbekistan.
The Dutch delegation also received information on investment climate, rights, guarantees and preferences for foreign investors, special industrial zones Navoi, Angren and Jizzakh.
Richard Francke briefed the Uzbek side on the goals of De Industrieele Groote Club, which is directed at establishing trade-economic ties between the Netherlands and foreign states via informing members on terms of doing business in foreign states and their investment opportunities.
The sides expressed readiness to assist each other for successful organization of the planned event.
Heleen over de Linden also called to sign a memorandum of understanding within the event and develop cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. She said that the club has successful experience of singing of such documents with foreign chambers.
