Uzbek Embassy Assists Citizen’s Safe Return from India

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan in India provided urgent consular and legal support to a Uzbek citizen, R.R., who found herself in a difficult situation abroad.

The woman sought help after losing her documents and facing potential exploitation by unscrupulous employers. The embassy’s consular section immediately coordinated with Indian law enforcement and immigration authorities to ensure her legal status and facilitate the issuance of necessary documents.

Thanks to the embassy’s logistical support, all arrangements were made for her safe return to Uzbekistan. On March 14, R.R. successfully arrived home aboard Uzbekistan Airways flight HY424.

The embassy once again reminded citizens to exercise caution when traveling abroad, avoid dubious job offers, and strictly comply with the regulations of foreign countries.
