Uzbek economy presented at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce

During the presentation, the participants familiarized with Uzbekistan, its economic achievements, measures adopted to ensure stable growth of GDP and diversification of economy, as well as cooperation with British companies, Jahon news agency reported.

The participants familiarized with priorities of industrial and investment policy of Uzbekistan, information on financial-banking system, measures adopted to expand exports of small businesses, tax preferences, etc.

Information on conditions created at special industrial zones Navoi, Angren and Jizzakh was also presented to the participants. The participants discussed issues of expanding trade-economic relation between Uzbekistan and Great Britain.
