Uzbek Dried Apricot Exports Surge 2.4-Fold, Reaching Nearly US$46 Million in 11 Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, Uzbekistan exported 23.9 thousand tonnes of dried apricots to 56 countries, generating US$45.8 million in export revenue, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
Compared with the same period last year, export volumes increased by 13.7 thousand tonnes, representing a 2.4-fold growth.
The significant expansion in export geography and the sharp rise in physical volumes reflect strong and sustained international demand for Uzbek dried apricots.
China emerged as the largest importer during the period, purchasing 5.5 thousand tonnes of the product. It was followed by Kazakhstan with 4.6 thousand tonnes and Türkiye with 4.1 thousand tonnes.
Exports to Russia amounted to 1.8 thousand tonnes, while Ukraine imported 1.5 thousand tonnes. The remaining destinations collectively accounted for approximately 6.5 thousand tonnes of shipments.
