Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Young scientists of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in a short-term scientific internship at the Assuta Medical Clinic in Israel, Dunyo news agency reported.

The internship was organized on the basis of a grant from the Fund for Supporting Innovative Development and Innovative Ideas, together with the Top Doctors Clinic Medical Center with the support of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Assuta Clinic, founded in 1934, is the most high-tech medical institution in Israel. Today it is the largest medical network in Israel, serving more than 1 million patients per year. The clinic conducts diagnostics and treatment in 14 areas, including: cardiology, oncology, infertility treatment, surgery, orthopedics and others.

At the graduation ceremony, young Uzbek specialists were presented with information about the modern development of the domestic healthcare system, the large-scale transformations carried out in this field, as well as plans for its further improvement.

During the internship, representatives of Uzbekistan were able to discuss issues of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the medical field, first of all, ways of introducing the best practices of Israel, as well as the holding of training courses and events by our Israeli specialists in our republic.
