Uzbek DFMs discuss attraction of investments in Namangan region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilkhom Nematov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alisher Abdualiyev held a field meeting of the Foreign Ministry leadership on 26 April 2019 in Namangan regional khokimiyat.

The ambassadors of Uzbekistan assigned to this region to Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Egypt, India, Iran, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Poland, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, and France, as well as other countries arrived in Namangan region to attend the meeting.

At the event with the participation of the khokim of the region Khairulla Bazarov, representatives of the relevant regional departments of ministries and departments discussed the implementation of investment projects developed with the assistance of diplomatic missions and presented during the recent visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Namangan region.

During the workshop, the issues of speeding up the implementation of the 48 investment projects included in the MFA “Roadmap” for this region, as well as new promising investment projects proposed for implementation in various districts of the region were considered.

Along with this, meetings were held in the khokimiyat of Namangan region with foreign investors from Azerbaijan, India, Italy, Pakistan, Russia, Thailand and Turkey, who came specially to discuss promising projects.
